Extracting sub grids from TRUECHART in M&D

Introduction: This step by step guide will help you to extract sub grid cells from a TRUECHART visual:
Create your TRUECHART visual
Grid layout of this TRUECHART visual with the Sub-grid that needs to be printed:
Log into M&D and create a M&D report in any format.
Select the “Datasource Browser” tab and expand the sense object you want to extract from and click on “New Chart Element”.
Select the “Report tab” and right click on “Template” and select “New Template”.
Click on your element and under “trueChart Parameters” change the “Mode” to “Extract Sub-Chart”
Then insert your “Sub-Chart ID” (Please see “How to extract your Sub-Chart ID” step by step below).
Drag and drop the element on your template in M&D.
Click on “Preview” and just the section that you specified will be printed in your M&D report.
How to extract your Sub-Chart ID:
In your Qlik Sense application, press f12
Click on the Elements tab
Navigate to the section you would like to extract and copy the chart ID as seen below
