TRUECHART and Mail & Deploy

Introduction

The below guide will show you how to create a Mail & Deploy report that will include TRUECHART visualizations from Qlik Sense

• To start you would need to log into Mail & Deploy management console and create a data source.
• Select "Datasources" and click on "Create Datasource" 

• Select "Qlik Sense Server App"

• Name your data source, insert your Qlik sense server details and select the application you want to use to create an M&D report from 
• Click on on the save icon then the check icon.

• Now you are ready to create a M&D report.
• Select "Reports" and click on DOWNLOAD DESIGNER and run the installation.

• Click on "CREATE REPORT" and select the type of report you would like to create.

• Name your report and click on on the save icon then the check icon.

• Click on the designer icon next your newly created report.

• Click on Open Designer Launcher to launch M&D designer 

• In M&D designer right click on "Templates" and select "New Template" and name your template.

• Double click on your newly created template "TC Test" and the Power point template will appear under "CONTENT EDITOR"
• Right click on "ELEMENTS" and select "New Chart Element" and name the newly created element.

• Under "Content", click on the button next to "Object" to select the object you want in your element.
• Select the object from the list that is displayed.

• Drag and drop the element onto the Power point sheet on the right and resize/reposition it.
• Click on the save icon in the top right-hand corner and then click on the PowerPoint icon to preview your report.

• Your Mail & Deploy report should be able to render all trueChart and MENUBAR visuals as seen below.
