SLICERBAR Global Properties

Overview

Use the global properties page to configure universal settings for the SLICERBAR extension. Once configured, these settings apply across all SLICERBAR items, helping keep behaviour and appearance consistent.

Configuration Areas

The global properties are organised into the following areas:

  • Elements — configure universal item settings that apply to all SLICERBAR items.

  • Visual — define the default visual settings for the entire SLICERBAR extension.

  • Data Filter — apply universal filters that restrict the values available across SLICERBAR items.

Elements

Use the Elements section to set universal item settings. Once these settings are saved, all SLICERBAR items inherit the configured values.

Visual Settings

Use the Visual section to define the default appearance settings for the entire SLICERBAR extension.

Data Filter

Use the Data Filter section to apply a universal filter to the SLICERBAR extension. Any items added to the SLICERBAR will be restricted by the selected filter values.

When the data filter is switched on, you can use the dimensions added to your SLICERBAR to create filter conditions. For example, the filter below limits the available selections to two brands: Asus and HP.

Result

Only the two brands specified in the filter are available for selection.
