Introduction

The MENUBAR has received a facelift, together with UI and UX designers, we have reimagined the MENUBAR User Experience and it’s User Interface to bring you a streamlined approach to creating your MENUBAR.

The functionality of the MENUBAR you’ve used all these years remains the same, so your existing MENUBARs will not be affected - in fact, there is no Conversion required - you simply need to update the extension in the Qlik Management Console

Drop your MENUBAR

When placing the MENUBAR on your Qlik Sheet, you will be greeted with a small welcome page.

Simply click “Get Started” and you’ll see our new UI

From here you can access the support documentation on our wiki or simply continue by dragging and dropping your required items into the Builder:

Items that require a Dimension (e.g. Sense Select, Date Picker etc.) will no longer require you to first add the required Dimension from the properties panel.

Users can now simply select the Dimension when editing the Item :

All configurations that change the appearance of an item (Background colour, Label, Icons etc) will appear live in the Builder Preview :

The Universal Tab has become the home of all General settings of the MENUBAR - including , Horizontal/Vertical alignment, General Colours and more:

Changing the orientation of your MENUBAR will change the layout of the builder to better represent the final product:
