Universal Settings

Introduction

This is where you can set your MENUBAR extensions global properties.

General

Open

The General section features following options:

Title

This is where you name your MENUBAR extension, this is what the extension will be named if you create a Sense master item.

Show Titles

If you enable this you will have the ability to show titles in all items in your MENUBAR extension .

Show Hover Menu

When you enable this you will have the ability to change hover settings in all items in your MENUBAR extension .

Show Details

You enable details with this setting.

Collapse Menu

This is where you set your MENUBAR extension to be collapsible .

Alternate States

Open

MENUBAR fully supports the Alternate States feature which can be used for comparative analysis in Qlik Sense.

The available states are defined in the appearance section of the property panel or the master item settings in Sense versions later than November 2018.

However, MENUBAR goes a step further and now also offers support for alternative statuses for all supported Qlik Sense versions, i.e. from 3.0! This allows not only the assignment of a different selection status, but also the creation, editing and deletion of the application-wide valid alternative states.

Styling

The Styling section features following options:

Layout

Under layout you can configure the Orientation, Width and height settings of your MENUBAR extension.

Border, Padding & Margin

here you can the default width of your Padding, Margin and the Border width and colour.

Position

This is where you set the default positioning of your items in your MENUBAR extension.

Colours

The Styling section features following options:

Elements

This is where you change your default colour of your Background, Hover&active, Text hover and seperator for your main and sub elements.

Selections

You change your default color when making selections in all items.

Date picker

Is where you change your default color settings for date picker items.

Slider

Is where you change your default color settings for Slider items.

Value input

Is where you change your default color settings for Value input items.

Text

The Text section is where you can change the default font size/type for your TRUECHART extension

Backgroud

The Backgroud section is where you can change the default background colour or add an image to your TRUECHART extension

Display

You have the ability to show or hide the standard Qlik sense bars like the Sense Menu, Selection and Title bars. And also hide the Snapshot and Full screen buttons
