Right Click Menu (context menu)

TRUECHART/All settings will extend the advanced right-click menu:

• Scaling contains actions to fixate the scaling of scaling groups - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a visualization element (chart or table visualization column)

  • Fixate all locks the scaling of all scaling groups at the current value.

  • Fixate group locks the scaling of a specific scaling group at the current value.

• Variable,

  • Add, the value at the mouse cursor as a variable.

• Highlight lets you create new or edit/delete existing highlights on the chart,

  • Add, create a highlight on the current visualization element (bar, value...)
  • Edit, opens the edit dialog for current highlight - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a highlight element
  • Delete, removes current highlight - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a highlight element

• Compare lets you create new or edit/delete existing compares on the chart,

  • 

  • Add, create a compare by clicking two visualization elements which shall get compare (chart or table visualization column)
  • Edit, opens the edit dialog for compare - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a compare element
  • Rating, click to change the compare rating - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a compare element
  • Signs, click to switch the compare sign - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a compare element
  • Delete, removes the current compare - this menu item is only visible after right-clicking on a compare element

• Input, Save changed will save the inline comments of the extension - this menu item is only visible if the auto-saving of comments was deactivated by designer

• Cell includes all actions that change the contents of a grid cell.

  • Content will open the cell dialog.

  • Table opens the table dialog to configure a table.

  • Link lets you create links between axes, legends, and values of different charts. See also: Linked visualizations (cell linking).

  • Cut cuts the current cell content and stores it in the clipboard.

  • Copy copies the current cell content into the clipboard.

  • Paste pastes the cell contents in the clipboard into the given cell.

• Layout leads you to the layout editor.

• Data & Format will open the data context dialog. If the right-click was done on a measure representation (bar, line, etc...) the editor will show the corresponding measure settings.

• Object contains all the actions to save, load, or export the extension:

  • Initialize sets the state of the extension to default.

  • Export as Image exports the extension in a PNG file.

  • Export as PDF exports the extension in a PDF file.

  • Export as Vector Graphic exports the extension in an EMF file.

  • Export as Excel exports the extension in an Excel sheet.

  • Deactivate Drilldown suppresses the automatic drill down behavior when clicking on a data element.

• Overall contains general and Notation Manual settings:

  • Indications lets you edit comparison and highlighting indicators.

  • My settings will open the [My settings] dialog.

  • Document will open the [Document settings] dialog.

  • Notation Manual will open the dialog to set the [Notation Manual] preferences.

• Show Text / Edit Text switches between edit and show mode.

• Help & About opens the Help & About dialog.

Save input will save the inline comments of the extension.

Cell will open the cell dialog for the specified cell.

Layout leads you to the layout editor.

Data & Format will open the data context dialog.

Save object will save the state of the extension.

Show Text / Edit Text will toggle between the show and edit mode.
