Features & Improvements

  • The Tomcat with which the TRUECHART Installer is packaged, has been upgraded to Tomcat 9.0.55;
  • A "Disable User Flag" has been added in TRUECHART Management Console, which allows active management of user access and disabling access of a user, should this be required;
  • Local User Groups has been added which allows non Active Directory users to be managed in the same manner as Active Directory users;
  • Bulk User Import functionality has been added, where you can now utilize this facility to manage and import permissions for Management Console, KPI-CHAT Administration, KPI- CHAT Consumer and KPI-CHAT System Administration;
  • Importing Users & Data Permissions functionality has been enhanced, to "Add" to the current list, and not "Replace".

Bug Fixes

  • The error experienced when exporting patterns in HICO Converter has been resolved;
  • KPI-Chat specific screens in TRUECHART Management Console, will now only display, should the required KPI Chat License be applied.

• We are thrilled to introduce the first phase release of our enhanced User Permission Management Facility. User Management is now centralized in the TRUECHART Management Console. Various functions are now clearly visible to users, and the user experience has been enhanced.

• TRUECHART Management Console now offers the user the ability to manage a "Secure Cookie Option" attribute, and make a selection between "No Attribute", "None", "Lax" and "Strict".
• Adjustable Cell Measure listing Size has been introduced for your convenience, allowing you, to adjust the size based on your preference.
• An additional option has been added to TRUECHART Management Console, which allows the user to enable additional "Debug Logging". Enabling this feature, would activate additional logs, which would assist the Support Team, to identify any issues that you may be experiencing more effectively. Do not enable this option by default, as this may cause unnecessary accumulation of logs

Features & Improvements

  • The overall user experience has been improved:
  • The interaction with TRUECHART for PowerBI Desktop and Online has been refined.
    • Version control between Desktop vs Online – Internal Version has been added; 
    • Published App’s comments stay intact when republishing.
  • Ability to copy visuals and "Unlink" the new visual from the original, making the visuals independent from another.
  • Security:
    • User is now required to be linked (stored) in the visual by inserting a "User Measure";
    • Users can now log in with their Email Addresses.
  • All User Sessions are stored separately (Cookies);
  • Improved the look of the "Could not load resources" error message.


Bug Fixes

  • Sorting by self (Dimension) is now functional.
  • Multiples:
    • Visualisations with multiples now display as expected;
    • "Drill Up" on Multiples now behaves as expected, shows the correct message "Data Missing", as disabling Multiple Drill Down in PowerBI limits the dimensions to only 1. TrueChart requires multiple dimensions for multiples.
  • Designer rights are now recognized without having to repaint.
  • Empty comments are no longer written to the database.
  • Comment reference sizes are now responsive.
  • Variables for scaling factors are rounded.
  • AppSource visual without service functional.
  • JS exception when a dimension has null values corrected.
  • '+' icons no longer disappear after dragging a comment over other comments.

  • Changes are no longer set to the initial definition when a display condition was used.
